Programming Skylink Travel and Force Limits IQ/EQ Series

Programming Travel Limits

1. Press and hold the “PROG” button for about 10 seconds to enter the programming mode. These

controls are located on the back of the opener motor.

2. The”PROG” button and the Up Arrow indicator light will be on.

3. Using the “Up Arrow” open the garage door to the desired fully open position. You may use

both the “Up Arrow” and “Down Arrow” buttons for adjusting.

4. When the garage door is at the desired up location, press the “Set” button to confirm the

programed open position.

5. When the open limit is programmed the “Down Arrow” light will be on.

6. Using the “Down Arrow” button, close the garage door to the desired fully closed position. You

may use the “Down Arrow” and “Up Arrow” buttons for adjustment.

7. When the garage door is at the desired closed location, press the “Set” button to confirm the

programmed down location.

8. The open and close travel limits are now programmed. The wall console will prompt you to set

the force limits for the garage door opener.

9. Force Limits are set automatically by following the prompts.

10. The “Prog” “Up Arrow” and the letter “A” lights will be on.

11. Press the “Set” button 2 times. This allows the opener to automatically set the open force

setting.

12. When the open force is set the “Prog”, “Down Arrow” and the letter “A” lights will be on.

13. Press the “Set” button 2 times. This allows the opener to automatically set the close force

setting.

Using the Automatic Force Limit Setting is recommended as it will set the Force Limits at the most

efficient setting.
