Programming Instructions
Step 1 – Locate the program button on the remote behind the visor
Step 2 – Press & hold the program using the visor or paper clip button until
the LED on the front of the remote control turns on & remain solid (Red).
Step 3 – Press & release the remote control button you wish to use the number of
times that corresponds with the garage door opener type:
# of Presses for Garage Door Opener Type (See matching opener brand & model at
the bottom of the page)
Press 1 for Yellow Learn Button (Security+ 2.0)
Press 2 for Purple Learn Button (315 MHz Security+)
Press 3 for Red/Orange Learn Button (390 MHz Security+)
Press 4 for Green Learn Button (390 MHz Billion Code)
Step 5 – Exit programming mode by pressing any remote control button except the button you
chose to be programmed or the remote program button.
Step 6 – Press & release the Learn button on the garage door opener (See picture for the different color learn button)
Step 7 – Press the remote control button programmed in step 3 until the you hear two clicks or
the garage door opener lights flash.
Step 8 – Press again on the programmed button to test.
